Tina Miller, People and Communications Administrator

Our people make Hutchison Technologies a great place to work and we’re pleased to shine the spotlight on another member of our talented team. In our latest Meet the Team feature, we meet People and Communications Administrator Tina Millar. We asked Tina to tell us a little about her role and what she enjoys most about working at Hutchison Technologies.

Tina said, “I was attracted to the role because I knew it would give me an opportunity to progress my career while being part of an innovative organisation. The technology solutions we provide are so interesting and I liked that Hutchison Technologies is a family run business. I also had a good experience during my initial conversation with Head of People and OD, Lynda Robb, about the role and opportunities; it just felt right.”

When it comes to her role, Tina likes working with Lynda, “The best part of my role is working with Lynda, my People Manager. We’ve built up a great relationship and she’s really helped me develop and learn. I couldn’t ask for a better Manager! I also love being part of the organisational journey we’re on; it really feels like I’m part of something special. The whole team is fantastic and I feel so lucky to work with such great, knowledgeable, and helpful people.”

In the year ahead, Tina will focus on supporting recent joiners to be successful and helping the business achieve its strategic goals. She said, “My role is very varied so it’s hard to pinpoint a particular focus. However, I’d like to bring in the right people who want to commit to the business for the long-term. I also want to continue my own development and ensure that I can really add value to the business also.”

Outside of work, Tina spends as much time as she can in Spain. She said, “My dad is Spanish and is originally from Gran Canaria, which makes me half Spanish. I have a lot of family over there that I try and visit yearly.”
