We’re pleased to welcome our new Head of Finance, Norman Mackay.

Norman will manage the Finance team, ensuring robust financial systems and processes are in place to support the financial management of the business. Norman will also play a key role in operational management activities.

He said, “Having spent most of my career in oil and gas, I was looking for a new challenge in a different industry. Hutchison Technologies is an established company with a strong vision and high growth potential. After learning more about the company and meeting with the Directors, I wanted to be part of it.”

Norman brings 25 years’ experience in finance and most recently worked with Aiken, a division of Global Energy Group, where he helped the company increase annual turnover to £26M. He’s hoping to help Hutchison Technologies achieve similar outcomes.

He said, “Businesses everywhere are facing challenges bouncing back from the global pandemic; increased demand on skilled workers – creating shortages – and supply chain issues – impacting on timelines and costs. This can impact a company’s ability to deliver for its customers and could slow growth. I like a challenge and I’m looking forward to introducing new systems and developing new processes to support our three year strategy.”

Norman added, “My first few weeks have been great, getting to meet everyone and understand how everything works.”
