Dundee-based technology company Hutchison Technologies has appointed Iain Byrne as its new Head of AV Projects.

Iain will lead the Projects team and take responsibility for seeing AV projects through from concept to completion.

Iain joins Hutchison Technologies from Signify (formally Philips Lighting), where he was responsible for leading and developing a team of project managers and field engineers to successfully deliver a portfolio of projects.

He said, “It’s fantastic to join such a forward-thinking company that places such importance on people and technology.

Iain added, “I’m really excited to begin the next chapter of my career with Hutchison Technologies. I look forward to bringing my experience in leadership and project management to help enhance the customer experience and develop and grow the team in support of our business goals.”

Starting out in Telecoms and Data Installation and Maintenance Services, before moving into Audio Visual, Feature Lighting and Access Control, Hutchison Technologies now works with leading brands in the Health and Fitness, Retail, Hospitality and Leisure sectors, delivering products, services and solutions in the UK, and overseas.

The company diversified into Software and Electronic products R&D, Global Logistics and Supply Chain management capability from 2007, and a range of marketing-leading Smart Energy products from 2013.
